Guest Lecture by Professor Carolyn Sue on Neuroprotective Treatments for Parkinson’s Disease

ProtectMove is pleased to announce an upcoming guest lecture by Professor Carolyn Sue, a distinguished clinician-scientist and internationally recognized leader in Parkinson’s disease and mitochondrial research. Her lecture, entitled “Developing Neuroprotective Treatments for Parkinson’s Disease,” will highlight recent advances in understanding the role of mitochondria in neurodegeneration and the development of targeted therapeutic strategies.

The lecture will take place on Tuesday, 19 August 2025, at 9:00 AM in the BMF Seminar Room, 4th Floor.

Professor Sue is the inaugural Kinghorn Chair at Neuroscience Research Australia and the University of New South Wales, as well as Director of Neuroscience at Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney. Her work has made major contributions to mitochondrial medicine and neurogenetics, and she has played a leading role in advancing research at the intersection of basic science and clinical application.
