Dr. Joanne Trinh Awarded Heisenberg Professorship in Neurogenomics

ProtectMove is delighted to share that Dr. Joanne Trinh has been awarded the Heisenberg Professorship in Neurogenomics by the German Research Foundation (DFG). Following successful negotiations, she will officially assume the professorship in February 2025.

This prestigious appointment recognizes Dr. Trinh’s outstanding contributions to the field of neurogenetics and highlights the importance of research at the interface of genomics and neurological disease. Her work strongly reflects the aims of ProtectMove by deepening our understanding of the genetic mechanisms underlying neurological and movement disorders and by advancing translational approaches with relevance for patient care.
